The Undercliff Studio is a cozy self catering Swiss style timber chalet which is set in magnificent ash and beech woods, set by The Undercliff Nature Reserve. Close by there is access to a half mile private beach with stunning views across Charton Bay. If you love nature, but combined with modern luxury, then the Undercliff Studio could be the perfect holiday for you. It is located on the Dorset Devon border near Rousdon, some three miles, or fifteen minutes drive, from Lyme Regis, and lies within the World Heritage Site known as The Jurassic Coast. The Studio is ecofriendly, using solar power backed up with a generator and the Studio's water supply is delicious spring water. Accomodation is suitable for a couple or single person. Dogs welcome.

This magnificent Beech tree is in the nearby Undercliff Nature Reserve, and actually features in John Fowles' 1981 classic film The French Lieutenant's Woman, based in Lyme Regis and starring Meryl Streep (see below). Lyme is but a short distance away by car, about three miles, and excellent for shopping.
